Greeted very nicely on arrival and given complimentary breakfasts due to the stay being for a special occasion. Room was adequate but the water in the sink and shower took a very long time to drain. The bar staff were pleasant but a shame cocktail ingredients had run out on the second night. There was aa adult, female hotel guest that thought it appropriate to come down to breakfast in her pyjamas and a onesie then sit outside on the steps smoking. The same female was also quite vocal both evenings at the bar which shattered the ambience slightly.

Clean but tired rooms.. swimming was cut short due to swimming lessons going on.. the 2 gym staff didn't look like the actual wanted to be there.. apart from that all other staff was fantastic.. only had breakfast and although it was £12 it was nice and again staff was fantastic.. nothing was to much trouble. My biggest grip would all be leasure and facilities. Miserable staff. Out of order steam room and reduced pool

Mykhailo is the main man, could not of met a better bar tender in my life, best hotel in Nottingham due to his bar tending skills, this guy is a must visit. If you ever visit Nottingham and looking for a place to stay this is the place you should stay. Mykhailo deserves a pay rise. Okaaaaadday let's go

The staff were lovely, it was clean and the house keeping staff were exceptional. The only disappointing part was the food, I ordered the Brest of duck which I waited nearly an hour for and when it came it was stone cold. I had to go over the road to the fish shop.
